Police have released video footage of two men engaged in a gunfight that took place in Jamaica Tuesday.

The gunslingers were firing shots at one another in the middle of the street by 194-05 Linden Blvd. at around 12:30 p.m. The pair were both using cars to shield themselves from the bullets.

The two men participating in the shootout got into their respective vehicles to flee the scene.

One man got into a silver Honda Accord to get away, only to come back to the scene to retrieve his belongings that he had dropped during the gunfight.

The second man fled in a black Acura 4-door sedan that was being driven by another unidentified individual.

There were no injuries reported, although a vehicle was damaged by stray bullets.

Anyone with information in regard to the shootout is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

It looks like we have 2 broke ex-cons that have a beef going to the EZ Pawn at 194-05 Linden Blvd. The times must be tough hustling to make a living and stay alive in the mean streets of Linden Blvd. The first shooter came back for his re-usable grocery bag and whatever receipt paperwork he had inside. I guess the pawn shop must have a no snitching policy with customers. NYPD just can’t get a break.

A convicted sex offender from Rego Park pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a child and admitted to soliciting and receiving sexually explicit images and videos from four young girls during a plea hearing in the federal courthouse in Central Islip on Friday. Anthony Pangallo, 41, faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years’ imprisonment and up to 50 years in prison.

According to court filings and statements during the plea proceeding, Pangallo was initially arrested on May 20, 2021, at his Rego Park residence, on state charges filed in Westport, Connecticut. Those charges, which remain pending, involved a 15-year-old victim whom Pangallo met online and manipulated into sending him sexually explicit images of herself.
