Van Morrison, Willie Nelson, To Play at Forest Hills Stadium This Fall

Legendary musicians Van Morrison and Willie Nelson will play side by side at the Forest Hills Stadium this fall.

The two will play their show, called “Van Morrison And Willie Nelson & Family” on Sept. 12 at 6:30 p.m.

Pre-sale tickets went online today for West Side Tennis Club members, and will go live for Amex card members on April 4 at 10 a.m.

The neighborhood pre-sale will begin at 10 a.m. on April 5, with all pre-sales ending promptly at 10 p.m. on April 6.

The tickets will begin to be sold to the general public on April 7 at 10 a.m. Prices vary between $85 to $250.

Morrison, most known for his bluesy-rock sounds and works like “Astral Weeks”, will be releasing his 39th studio album, “You’re Driving Me Crazy”, on April 27.

Nelson will also be releasing a new album, Last Man Standing, on April 27. The folk and country artist’s six-decade career includes acclaimed albums like “Red Headed Stranger” and “Stardust”.

Mayor Adams marks one year of ‘Padlock to Protect’ with pizza and progress in Queens

Mayor Eric Adams marked the one-year anniversary of the launch of the city’s “Operation Padlock to Protect” initiative at a pizzeria on the Rego Park and Middle Village border on Wednesday and touted the significant progress in shutting down more than 1,400 illegal smoke shops across the five boroughs and seizing more than $95 million in illegal product since last May.

“The city was fed up. We heard it at every town hall. This time last year, there were thousands of illegal smoke shops plaguing our city with unlicensed cannabis endangering our children,” Adams said. “One year later, we are proud to announce that we have turned the tide. Thanks to the tireless efforts by our city’s law enforcement officers, we’ve padlocked thousands of illegal shops and created safer streets for children and families. But we’re not stopping there.”
