Feb. 3, 2023 By Bill Parry

Police from the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills are looking for two young women who allegedly rifled through members’ lockers at Planet Fitness on multiple occasions late last month, stealing credit cards later used to make illegal purchases.

The first incident occurred just after noon on Tuesday, Jan. 24, when the two suspects entered the Planet Fitness, located at 107-02 Queens Blvd., across the service road from McDonald Park, and swiped multiple credit cards, police said.

This was repeated by the same women on the evening of Sunday, Jan. 29, and again during the afternoon of Tuesday, Jan. 31.

There were no injuries reported after each of the incidents during the “grand larceny pattern,” according to the authorities.

The NYPD released surveillance video on Thursday that shows the suspects making purchases at Forest Hills businesses using the stolen credit cards. Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or the 112th Precinct’s Detectives Squad at 718-520-9250.
