Police are searching for a mob of teenagers who chased two middle-aged men down a Ridgewood street last month before clobbering them with baseball bats.

The victims, aged 50 and 60, were surrounded by about a dozen teenagers at the corner of Wyckoff Avenue and Madison Street at around 4 a.m. on July 4 and hit repeatedly with baseball bats and other objects, according to police.

The 60-year-old victim was beaten unconscious and suffered a laceration to his head while the 50-year-old man was struck and also stabbed in the torso with a knife by one of the suspects, police said.

The victims were transported by EMS to separate area hospitals in stable condition.

Police said the two men had gotten into a heated dispute with the group a short time earlier as they were leaving the Palace of Zuly bar, located at 913 Wyckoff Ave.

The victims, police said, clashed with the group after their friend was allegedly being bothered by the teenagers.

The mob then turned on the two victims and chased them on foot for five blocks before eventually catching up with them and unleashing the vicious assault, police said.

The group then fled the scene southbound on Wyckoff Avenue.

The suspects are described as a mix of young men and women aged in their late teens or early 20s. Police released video footage of the mob running down Wyckoff Avenue.

Police said they recovered the knife used to stab the 50-year old victim. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
