Police have arrested a city employee who allegedly took photos up a woman’s skirt at a Rego Park shopping center earlier this week.

Eduardo Pinzon, a 42-year-old employee with the city’s Department of Environmental Protection, was arrested at around 4 p.m. today by officers of the 112th Precinct, an NYPD spokesperson said. He was charged with unlawful surveillance to the second degree.

Tinzon allegedly used his cellphone to take upskirt photos of 26-year-old Edjelyn Gamboa, who was shopping at Burlington Coat Factory at around 6 p.m. on July 30.

Gamboa told CBS News that she felt something brush up against her leg while looking through clothes in one of the aisles.

“I saw a light went off, a man behind me, and he’s holding his phone on camera mode,” she said.

Gamboa took to Reddit to post a surveillance video of the incident on Wednesday, where a man is seen crouching down and with his back to her, with his phone under her skirt.

“I just felt violated,” Gamboa said.

Gamboa and her sister confronted the man, who said he didn’t do anything, but left the store when the two went to check out surveillance footage. They managed to snap a clear photo of his face, however.

“I just hate the feeling,” Gamboa said. “We’re women, and simply wearing skirts doesn’t give them a pass to harass us.”

What a jerk. Maybe the City can convert Rikers into a Perv Colony for all of the gross little people like this.

I apologize for my intolerance, but these folks deserve each other.

Mayor Adams marks one year of ‘Padlock to Protect’ with pizza and progress in Queens

Mayor Eric Adams marked the one-year anniversary of the launch of the city’s “Operation Padlock to Protect” initiative at a pizzeria on the Rego Park and Middle Village border on Wednesday and touted the significant progress in shutting down more than 1,400 illegal smoke shops across the five boroughs and seizing more than $95 million in illegal product since last May.

“The city was fed up. We heard it at every town hall. This time last year, there were thousands of illegal smoke shops plaguing our city with unlicensed cannabis endangering our children,” Adams said. “One year later, we are proud to announce that we have turned the tide. Thanks to the tireless efforts by our city’s law enforcement officers, we’ve padlocked thousands of illegal shops and created safer streets for children and families. But we’re not stopping there.”
