NYPD: Man Fatally Stabbed Near Queens Center Mall

A 22-year-old man was stabbed to death near Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst yesterday.

Police officers were patrolling the area near 57th Avenue and 92nd Street around 8:00 p.m, when they heard the victim scream and saw him collapse to the ground, according to police.

The police hurried over to the victim and found that he was unresponsive, with stab wounds to his neck and torso.

The victim was pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. The victim’s name had not been released as of Thursday morning as the family had not been notified.
