NYPD: Chase Bank Branch in Forest Hills Robbed Friday

A Chase Bank branch in Forest Hills was robbed Friday afternoon.

A man entered the 118-30 Queens Blvd. bank at around 4:40 p.m. April 1 and passed the teller a note demanding cash.

The teller, a 31-year-old woman, complied in fear for her safety and provided the suspect with an undisclosed amount of cash. The man then fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction.

There were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as having a light complexion, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a red cap, blue jeans, a beige jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt and a surgical mask.

The police have released a photo of the suspect. Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
