NYPD: 69-year-old woman robbed on 67th Road Wednesday, suspect pushed her to the ground

A 69-year-old woman was robbed in Forest Hills Wednesday by an individual who approached her from behind, threw her to the ground and stole her purse, according to police.

The suspect approached the victim at around 6:20 pm on 67th Road, between Yellowstone Boulevard and 108th Street, pushed her to the ground and took her purse that contained an iPhone 6, black dancing shoes, credit cards, keys and ID.

The victim, who suffered pain to her right arm and ribs, did not need medical attention. The attacker fled on foot.

The alleged perpetrator, whose gender is not known, is believed to a white-Hispanic, around 25-years old and 5’5″.

The police have released a photo of the unidentified individual fleeing with the victim’s purse.
