Man steals iPad from AT&T store in Rego Park, police say

Police are searching for a man who stole an iPad from an AT&T store in Rego Park yesterday.

According to police, the suspect entered the store at 96-14 Queens Boulevard around 6:35 and grabbed an iPad, before fleeing towards the nearby subway station.

The suspect is described as a black man around 5-foot-4, and anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.

A 60-year-old man suffered serious head injuries after he got into a verbal altercation with two strangers in Rego Park that quickly escalated into violence.

Police from the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills reported that the assault occurred at around 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, when the victim got into an argument with one man who was riding a black scooter and another man on Woodhaven Boulevard near Metropolitan Avenue.
