Oct. 27, 2020 By Michael Dorgan

Police have arrested a man for killing his pregnant girlfriend Friday and dumping her body on the side of the road in Bayside.

Goey Charles was arrested Monday for murdering 29-year-old Vanessa Pierre whose body was found next to the Horace Harding Expressway near Bell Boulevard on Oct. 23, according to police.

Police discovered Pierre lying face down on the ground next to a small bush on the sidewalk at around 6 a.m.

Charles, 29, from Uniondale in Long Island, strangled Pierre to death before disposing of her body, police said.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison tweeted a video of Charles yanking Pierre’s lifeless body out of a white-colored sports car before getting back into the vehicle. The incident was captured on video from a nearby store.

“Earlier this morning, Goey Charles was apprehended and arrested for the heinous act of killing Vanessa,” Harrison tweeted Tuesday while announcing the arrest.

Charles has been charged with murder in the second degree and his arraignment was pending in Queens Criminal Court Tuesday.
