Man Follows Young Girls Into Bathroom of Flushing Target; Takes Photos Under Stall: NYPD

Suspect (NYPD)

Aug. 11, 2021 By Allie Griffin

Police are looking for an alleged creep who followed two young girls into the women’s restroom at a Target store in Flushing last month and took photos of them under the stall.

The suspect shot footage of the girls in the bathroom inside the store at the Skyview Center mall on July 29. A day later, he was back at the store taking photos up a woman’s skirt, police said.

The apparent pervert first followed the two girls, ages 12 and 3, into the women’s restroom on July 29 at 3:20 p.m. When the girls went into a stall together, the man stuck his cellphone under it to record/photograph the girls, police said.

The girls left the restroom and alerted the adults they were with.

The man fled on foot, but returned to the same Target the following day.

The suspect allegedly spotted a 40-year-old woman at the store wearing a skirt at around 8:25 p.m. He snuck his phone under her skirt to record as she leaned over to check an item in the aisle. He then ran off again, police said.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at https://crimestoppers.nypdonline.org/ or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
