Hot & Tasty Bakery has Permanently Closed

A cafe known for offering quick eats across the street from Queens Borough Hall has closed. 

Hot & Tasty at 120-10 Queens Blvd. was known for serving sandwiches, bagels, pizza, smoothies and coffee drinks. Reports suggest that the cafe closed in late March.

The restaurant, which was formerly open 24/7, was commended in online reviews for providing convenient meals near the courts and city offices. Several reviewers criticized the inconsistency of the cafe’s customer service.

Queens residents from the Asian diaspora came together to celebrate the festive holiday. Many locals donned red, a symbol of prosperity, and their traditional attire, including Korean hanbok, Chinese qipao, and Vietnamese áo dài.
