Mar. 13, 2023 By Bill Parry

The NYPD is looking for two alleged burglars who allegedly hit the same gas station near Flushing Meadows Corona Park twice in two days earlier this month.

Authorities say the culprits forcibly entered through the front door of the Mobil station located at 110-88 Horace Harding Expressway in Corona at around 4 a.m. on Saturday, March 4. Once inside, the suspects removed $2,000 from the cash register and car keys to a Jeep Wrangler before running off in an unknown direction, police said.

The perpetrators returned to the gas station just before 1:30 a.m. on Monday, March 6, and drove off inside the red Jeep Wrangler with a New York license plate KZR2123 eastbound on the Horace Harding Expressway toward Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

The NYPD released video surveillance of the suspects inside the gas station.

One suspect was dressed in all black and the other suspect wore a gray hooded winter jacket.

The detective squad from the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills is investigating the heist.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
