Cops Looking for Man Who Allegedly Robbed Rego Park Smoke Shop at Knifepoint Last Week

The police are looking for a man who robbed a Rego Park smoke shop at knife point last week and took $3,500 from the cash register.

The suspect allegedly entered Howard Smoke & Vape Shop located at 97-15 Queens Blvd. at around 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26 and displayed a knife. He then took the cash from the register.

Police said that no one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as being in his 30s, with a medium build and medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, blue jeans, black sneakers, black gloves and a multi-colored face mask.

Police released surveillance video and a photo of the suspect.

A Richmond Hill man was indicted by a Queens grand jury for the attempted murder of his 8-year-old stepson nearly a year ago.

Davien Reid Sr., 43, of 88th Avenue, was arraigned in Queens Supreme Court on Friday on the indictment charging him with attempted murder in the second degree, assault, witness intimidation and other related crimes for the brutal beating of his stepson after the youngster was accused of eating brownies intended for the defendant.
