A major home goods chain opened its first New York City location in Rego Park last week.

At Home, a Texas-based home decor superstore, opened at 61-35 Junction Blvd. inside the Rego Center mall last Wednesday.

“We are thrilled to open our first New York City store in the borough of Queens,” At Home Chairman and CEO Lee Bird said. “Our customers have been asking us to bring At Home to this area for some time and we continue to look for other locations in the Tri-State area so everyone can affordably make their house a home.”

At Home is moving into the space that was occupied by Kohl’s.

The retailer has more than 220 stores in 40 states and sells thousands of home decor items and furnishings for every room at budget-friendly prices. It sells items like rugs, wall art, patio furniture, housewares, mirrors, seasonal decor and more.

Hundreds of new products are replenished in At Home stores each week.

The Rego Center store is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Curbside pick-up and local delivery options are available to customers.
