The Grammy-nominated British rock band Arctic Monkeys announced yesterday that it will perform in Forest Hills this July.

Arctic Monkeys will perform at Forest Hills Stadium on July 24. Tickets are available for pre-sale, and will be formally on sale starting Friday at 10 a.m.

Arctic Monkeys has produced five studio albums, including the critically acclaimed record “AM” in 2013, which is considered to be one of the bestselling vinyl albums of the decade. A single from the album, “Do I Wanna Know?” was the band’s first song to break into the Billboard Hot 100.

The band won seven Brit awards and a Mercury Music Prize, and has been nominated three times for Grammy awards.

Arctic Monkeys has stoked rumors that it will be releasing a new album sometime in 2018. The band went on hiatus after its tour ended in 2014, and has not released an album since “AM.”

The concert will take place at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.
