An 83-year-old woman was violently robbed in Forest Hills on Sunday.
The senior was walking along the sidewalk on Queens Boulevard, near 112th Street, when a man jumped out of a dark-colored SUV and ran up to her. He snatched her purse and threw the elderly woman to the ground, police said.
He then drove off with the purse in the SUV, police said.
The woman’s elbow was broken as a result of the attack and she was rushed to New York Presbyterian Hospital – Queens in stable condition.
The senior’s purse contained $50, her ID, bank cards and iPhone, according to police.
The suspect attempted to use one of the woman’s bank cards at a bodega in the Bronx, but was unsuccessful, police said.

You rob an old lady who can’t defend herself? Not only is he a low life piece of sewer sludge but he’s a coward and I hope they get him, put him in Rikers where they can show him what a real man is. My heart goes out to her and I know the physical wounds will heal but the mental and emotional will take longer. I send her lots of healing hugs.
