The disappearance of a 14-year-old Rego Park girl yesterday has ignited a large social media campaign to find her.

The child, Jocelyn Zacarias, was last seen at 7:15 a.m. at the supermarket Thursday where she works, Rego Fresh Marketplace, at 63-76 Woodhaven Blvd., police say.

Zacarias is described as Hispanic and Filipino, and is about 5 feet 1 inches tall and 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing white sneakers and a red hat.

Social media users have spread news of Zacarias’ image across Facebook for the last few hours, urging the community to help find her.

Manny Zacarias, Jocelyn’s father, wrote on Facebook that his daughter was still missing at around 7 a.m. Friday. He said that a group of volunteers was hanging posters around the neighborhood.

“We are sorry we can’t get to everyone’s messages and calls at this time,” he wrote. “We see them and appreciate everything. We love you all! Thank you for the prayers and support.”

Jaclyn’s mother, Mickey Blume-Zacarias, also wrote a plea for Jocelyn’s safe return on Facebook last night.

“Jocelyn my baby, come home,” she wrote.

Please check the basement and storage rooms in the store where she works. Check the video cameras in the store. I am praying with you.
