Jan. 30, 2024 By Ethan Marshall A total of 13 affordable units are up for grabs at the Metropolitan Senior Apartments in Kew Gardens, with monthly rents ranging from $1,522-$1,937. The affordable units are part of an 8-story mixed-use building at 132-77 Metropolitan Ave. In total there will be 40 residences in the building, with 27 being market rate. The city has opened a lottery for the 13 affordable units. Two of them are studio, eight are one-bedroom and three are two-bedroom.
