Foodies unite.

The Queens Economic Development Corporation will host Queens Taste 2017 in Corona next month, offering participants food from all over the globe.

The event will be held at the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Park in Corona on May 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. and will bring together more than 60 restaurants to offer tastes of food and drink from all corners of the world.

Queens Taste will offer all-you-can eat and drink samples. Food options will range from French to Indian to Paraguayan to Japanese, among many others, and there will be gin-based drinks from a local distillery and wine from several local purveyors.

The event will serve as a fundraiser for the QEDC, and proceeds will go towards its efforts to create and maintain good jobs in the borough.

Tickets cost $125 each or two for $200, and can be purchased at www.thequeenstaste.com.

Twenty individuals were indicted and variously charged in a wide-ranging scheme to steal cars in Queens, throughout New York City and its suburbs, following a three-year investigation by the Queens District Attorney’s Office, the NYPD, and the New York State Police dubbed “Operation Hellcat,” into the criminal enterprise based in Queens.

Some of the vehicles were stolen from owners’ driveways, some with the keys or key fobs inside. The stolen vehicles were often sold through advertisements on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. The defendants are charged in nine separate indictments for a total of 373 counts, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced on Thursday.
