Fresh Meadows Woman Dies, A Month After Being Struck by Pick-Up Truck

A 70-year-old woman from Fresh Meadows died yesterday about a month after she was struck by a pick-up truck that was exiting a driveway.

Ning Peng, of Utopia Parkway, was walking along 58th Avenue—between 184th and 185th Streets—when she was hit by a 2017 Ford F-150 Pick-Up truck that was reversing up a driveway at around 8:20 a.m. on Friday, July 16. .

Peng, who lived about two blocks away from where she struck, suffered head and body trauma. She was taken by EMS to New York – Presbyterian Hospital – Queens in critical condition.

The driver remained on the scenes and there have been no arrests.
