A 24-year-old woman was robbed last month inside a Forest Hills train station, according to police.
The victim was inside the 75th Avenue E/F subway station on Dec. 20 around 4:30 a.m. when an unidentified man approached her and forcibly took her purse.
The thief then fled the station in an unknown direction. The victim’s purse contained jewelry and credit cards, with an estimated value of nearly $5,000, according to police.
Police said the suspect attempted to make a purchase from a Manhattan Game Stop—located at 32 East 14th Street—around 10:30 a.m. that same day.
The suspect has been described as black and between 25 to 35 years old. He was last seen wearing a dark cap, orange and black coat and dark pants.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

I wager he was one of these fare-evaders too who uses the subway for free but GOD forbid we stop him or reinstate stop and frisk. We may actually protect our law abiding citizens. What a crock.
Maybe if they find him don’t even bother to arrest him … get him a haircut … new clothes … a free phone … Mets tickets …. and maybe an all paid trip to the destination of his choice with his shyster friends
The 75th Ave station used to be one of the safest stops that hardly ever had any issues. Now it is a weekly event and those are just the reported incidents. Thanks to deBozo and our local representatives we know have a tremendous uptick in crime and incidents between 71st and Union Tpke stations. These animals prey on the residents and there is no punishment only rewards. Please add more transit police and beat cops. It is unreal how crime has spiked and everyone acts like it’s just another day.
Why even arrest him. He gets to learn who the witnesses are the victim as well as they’re addresses and phone numbers. He wont do one day of jail time. Mets tickets burner phones and parting gifts . Crime does pay
