Paris Baguette to open Rego Park location in February

Paris Baguette location

Jan. 11, 2017 By Hannah Wulkan

A popular bakery chain is opening a new location in Rego Park.

Paris Baguette, an international café chain based out of Korea that serves light meals and pastries, will be opening up a franchise at 96-33 Queens Boulevard sometime next month, said a spokeswoman for the company.

The spokeswoman said that the company is about 75 percent done renovating and preparing to open, and plans to open its doors in mid to late February.

The café will employ between 20 and 25 people, and is currently hiring.

The menu offers a wide range of options, including baked goods such as fresh bread, cakes and pastries, as well as a full brunch and lunch menu with sandwiches, soups and salads. It also has a large beverage menu with various coffees and teas.

The new location marks the opening of a second western Queens Paris Baguette franchise. The company opened a new branch in Sunnyside in November. It will be the 15th Paris Baguette franchise in New York City.

The company opened its first U.S. store in 2005, and as of 2017 will have 50 locations across the country.
