Suspect (NYPD) and 118-27 Queens Blvd. (Google)

Police have released video of a man robbing a 68-year-old woman inside a Forest Hills discount store Saturday.
The victim, who is seen with a cane, was inside 118-27 Queens Blvd. when a man approached her at about 9:40 a.m. and ripped her purse from her hands. The purse contained about $150.
The suspect fled the store on foot. The victim did not sustain any injuries.
The robber is described as black and was last seen wearing a white baseball hat, blue jeans, white and black sneakers, a blue long sleeve shirt and carrying a black backpack.
Police have released photos and video of the suspect.

Having the E/F lines run through our neighborhood is a blessing and a curse. I love the convenience when the trains are running like they should but unfortunately it does bring an undesirable element in as well. The area around the Union Tpke station has been getting more and more shady characters like the doofus in this story.
Would have never thought a commenter this description would do something like this.
