Police released video yesterday of a woman wanted for attacking another passenger on the E train earlier this year.
On April 15, around 9 a.m., the 53-year-old female victim was attempting to board a southbound E train at the Forest Hills/71 Avenue station when she accidentally bumped into the suspect, who was exiting the train. The suspect, who was with an infant, then got back onto the subway car and punched the victim in the face before fleeing the station in an unknown direction.
The victim, who suffered pain and bruising to her left eye, stayed on the train and later called the police. EMS responded and transported her to NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
The suspect is described as light-skinned and approximately 30 years old. She was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a pink shirt, dark pants, and was pushing a stroller and carrying an infant.
Police released surveillance camera video of the suspect.
Anyone with information in regards to the identity of the suspects is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com

you changed bla to blow so you could call him a name! How presidential. He’s not coming back from this one for sure.
Why are these stroller moms so aggressive lately? I work in Battery Park and god forbid you’re walking towards them, they won’t move for you. They feel so entitled, but you’re not, you’re like everyone else so get in line!!
deBLOWsio’s NYC. Well done.
Crap happened during Bloomberg too. What did you, just move here?
But when Bloomberg was mayor the crap ended up in jail instead of being given keys to the city.
Here. Hold my kid. BAM!
i’d never raise a child in nyc. there is no happiness here for any child or is there any freedom and greenspace for them. just cement buildings and really nasty people to watch out for.
53 years of age is old? How old are you? Twelve?
Don’t mess with a mother and her baby! Just like a Bear it will do anything to protect it’s cub.
Anyone who has ridden the train in Queens knows the people trying to get on are crazy aggressive and will push and block the passengers trying to get off just so they can get a seat. I have a feeling the woman who got punched in the face deserved it. Shame on the NYPD for pursuing this mom who was probably just protecting her baby.
the woman who got punched in the face did not “deserve” it. You weren’t there so shut up.
Mama said knock you out!
is really something strange about this story a woman Carrie baby And stroller. Like Everywoman care for the baby watching over him like a tiger How she got a time to punch someone in the face I found this hard to believe And that I might be wrong
The woman left her child in the stroller, outside of the train to get back on and assault the victim before the doors closed. I hope CPS takes her child.
Some moms are just angry bc if the situation they’re in. Holding the baby and pushing a stroller plus taking a train! They are dangerous ppl on the train! Watch out, bc they’ll run you over with the stroller if you get in their wY!! !!
If she got bumped, a flurry of words would have sufficed. This had the potential to get the baby hurt. Mom’s an idiot.
I’m wondering if she was coming or going from the welfare office but also questioning if there really is a baby under the blanket or a doll.
did the old woman barge through the door and strike the baby?
This woman is a heck of a multitasker.
In all seriousness, with a mother such as this, that child is doomed.
It’s rush hour someone probably dived for her seat and she got in the way. I bump into people I say I am sorry and move along. The E/F trains are packed. Ride at your own risk.
Umm. Letemoff. Sorry. Not condoning hitting but not condoning pokemoning either
Just keeping it real.
But seriously, let the passengers off first.
Great role model for her child
