The police arrested a man yesterday wanted for attempting to rob a Forest Hills bank last month.

David Pyant, a 27-year-old South Jamaica resident, faces robbery charges after trying to rob First Central Savings Bank, located at 71-66 Austin Street, at around 11:05 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, police said.

Pyant allegedly entered the bank, walked up to the teller with a note and demanded money. However, the teller took a while to retrieve the cash and Pyant left while waiting, police said.
