Permits have been filed for an 8-story mixed-use building in Forest Hills.

The planned 80-foot-tall building would be located at 105-25 65th Road, and contain 18 residential units. A demolition permit for the 2-story house located on the property was filed in February.

The building would contain a 3,799 square foot community space, which would be located on the second floor and have a lobby on the first floor.

The residential units would take up 13,068 square feet on the upper six floors. A residential lobby would be located on the first floor, and a recreational area would be constructed on the roof.

The property is seven blocks from the 67th Avenue (E/M/R) subway station. Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital is three blocks away.

The property is owned by FR Development LLC. Li Architect Associates will handle the design.
