An indoor market and children’s carnival has set up shop in Rego Park for the winter.

The Rego Park Market opened after Thanksgiving at the former location of Pioneer Supermarket at 99-01 63rd Road, with plans to stay open until the summer. The market includes 60 to 70 vendors offering holiday gift options.

The vendors are selling items such as baked goods, antiques, paintings, knitwear and jewelry.

Children can let off steam in the market’s bouncy castles and hang out with characters such as Olaf the snowman and Mickey Mouse. Twenty carnival games are available for play, including fishbowl toss and tic tac toe.

The market was opened by Queens residents Allen Aminov, Tony Carbonaro and Ioannis Yani” Pierros. They owned the former Pioneers Supermarket that closed about two years ago. They wanted to put the vacant space to use.

Aminov noted that unlike Manhattan and Brooklyn, Queens residents do not have access to holiday markets.

“I thought I’d take the same concept for the Queens community,” said Aminov. “I always wanted to do something like that.”

The Market will host a Hanukkah Party this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Families are invited for face painting, a magic show and live music.

The Rego Park Market is open from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily.
