A former Queens teacher who was caught trying to lure a 14-year-old girl to meet him for oral sex pleaded guilty Monday to a number of sex crimes, according to the Queens District Attorney’s office.

Christopher Tselios, 29, a former substitute special education teacher from Bayside, tried to meet up with a 14-year-old girl at a Forest Hills eatery on July 30, 2016 for oral sex, according to prosecutors.

The “girl,” who was to receive $500 in exchange for the sex act, was an undercover female officer. Tselios was arrested after he led the officer to his parked car.

“The defendant has admitted to trying to meet an underage teenager for sex and will now go to jail for his actions,” said Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown. He will be sentenced to 3 months jail.

Tselios’ arrest was the result of an Internet sting operation.

Tselios, according to the District Attorney, placed an ad on Craigslist seeking “fun with a teen high schooler or younger.”

A NYPD detective posing as a girl responded on July 26, 2016. Tselios then asked the “girl” her age, and the detective responded 14.

The two exchanged a series of emails, and Tselios was sent a photo of the female officer. He suggested that they meet up to “fool around,” according to the court documents. In a July 29, 2016 email, he offered her $500 to meet him at 11:00 p.m. at the Forest Hills eatery.

The female officer waited at the eatery until Tselios arrived just after midnight and said, “Let’s go.”

Tselios was arrested when he and the officer arrived at his parked car. The police recovered $500 in cash in his possession.

Tselios pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted criminal sexual act, first-degree attempted disseminating indecent material to minors, second-degree attempted patronizing a prostitute and attempted endangering the welfare of a child.

He is out on $50,000 bail and will be sentenced on Feb. 6, 2018 to three months in jail and ten years’ probation, according to the District Attorney’s office. He will be ordered to register as a sex offender on the state’s registry.

The New York City Council passed a landmark bill on Wednesday, aiming to relieve renters of paying hefty broker fees — a cost that will now fall on the party who hires the listing agent. Known as the FARE Act (Fairness in Apartment Rentals), the legislation passed with a veto-proof majority of 42-8, despite opposition from Republicans and conservative Democrats.
