NYPD: Two Men Swipe $3,000 Worth of Cigarettes From Kew Gardens 7-Eleven

The police are looking to identify two men who allegedly stole $3,000 worth of cigarettes from a 7-Eleven store in Kew Gardens last month.

Police have released video footage of the suspects who targeted the 7-Eleven store at 81-64 Lefferts Blvd. at around 4:15 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 13.

One of the men acted as a lookout, police said, while the other removed the cigarettes from behind the counter. They both fled in an unknown direction.

The suspects are both black and between the age of 19-25 years of age.

I was thinking, how can these guys get $3,000 worth of cigarettes that easily? Then I realized that at at $15 a pack, that is really only 200 packs, or 20 cartons. That could be a lucrative business.
