An 84-year-old Forest Hills man died Monday two weeks after he rode his bicycle into a car in Rego Park, police said.

Yau-Teg Fung collided with a 2015 Toyota Camry at the intersection of Fleet Street and Alderton Street on Friday, Nov. 17 at 2:43 pm, police said.

The driver of the Camry was an 80-year-old woman who was traveling west on Fleet Street, before stopping at the stop sign at Alderton Street.  She then proceeded to travel through the intersection when her vehicle was struck on the driver’s side door by Fung’s bicycle when he was traveling north on Alderton Street.

Fung was thrown to the ground and was then transported to Elmhurst Hospital, where he died on Monday, police said.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
