Grammy award winning rapper and just named Best New Artist at the BET Awards on Sunday, Chance the Rapper will rock the house in Forest Hills this fall.
Chance, 24, who headlined Governor’s Ball earlier this month, will be playing at Forest Hills Stadium on Sept. 26, as part of his “Be Encouraged Tour,” which aims to “uplift” and “empower” artists. He will be joined by Francis and the Lights and DJ Oreo.

In addition to performing on “Ellen” and “Saturday Night Live,” Chance is also active in stopping gun violence in his native Chicago.
In November 2014, Chance was named Chicago’s Outstanding Youth of the Year by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. He also met with President Obama at the White House in April 2016, to discuss My Brother’s Keeper Challenge, an initiative of the United States Federal Government to promote intervention by civic leaders in the lives of young men of color to address their unique challenges and to promote racial justice.
