Man breaks into two Forest Hills offices, steals laptops and potted plants

The police are looking for a man who has allegedly broken into two commercial establishments in Forest Hills in the past month taking everything from laptops to potted plants.

The first incident took place on Friday, May 19, at around 11 pm, when the suspect entered H&L Counseling Services at 115-10 Queens Boulevard and took $200 cash and two laptops worth $800, according to police.

The second incident allegedly occurred on Thursday, June 1, at around 8:00 am, when the suspect broke into the Greisner Dental office at 69-60 108th Street through an unlocked first floor window and took potted plants before he fled on foot. The police captured surveillance video from this incident.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, medium build, 25-years-old with dark hair. He was last seen wearing slacks, dress shoes and a button-down shirt with tie.

A Floral Park man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed on the Jackie Robinson Parkway in Ridgewood on the morning of Thursday, June 26.

Daniel Moore, 39, of Cunningham Avenue, was riding a black 2010 Harley-Davidson Super Glide traveling eastbound on the highway through Highland Park when he failed to navigate the roadway near Cypress Avenue and struck a concrete divider, police said Thursday. The impact ejected Moore from the bike.
