Police looking for man who allegedly placed skimming devices on two ATMs

The police are searching for a man who has allegedly placed skimming devices on two neighborhood ATMs in recent months.

The latest incident took place in Rego Park on May 3, when the suspect allegedly placed a skimming device at the ATM of Astoria Bank, located at 97-33 Queens Boulevard. According to police, the ATM was not used while the device was in place.

Suspect (NYPD)

This incident comes one month after the suspect allegedly placed a device at an ATM at 63-62 108th Street, another Astoria Bank branch. The skimming device was found on Saturday, April 8.

The suspect is described as black or Hispanic, with light complexion.
