A church in Forest Hills was vandalized this past weekend with two large rocks thrown through the glass front doors.
Parishioners of Grace Lutheran Church, located at 103-15 Union Tpke., discovered Saturday the glass front doors smashed by rocks. The damaged glass included stained glass inserts.
A source provided photos of the damage.
Police said that they received a call at around 7 p.m. about the vandalism. The incident is being investigated as a case of criminal mischief—as opposed to a hate crime. There have been no arrests.

If this were a Mosque or Temple it would be labeled a hate crime and local Politicians would be out in droves for the photo-op to “denounce” the hate. Why is this not a hate crime when it is an attack on a Church?
Let’s see – was it done by a little old man? Or was it done by somebody who doesn’t like Asians, Jews, elderly people, innocent children or anybody else for that matter. In other words, if these human beings don’t matter, BLM doesn’t either. Read the papers people – every day there is somebody getting assaulted or killed or property being destroyed. Look at the animals in California who stole luxury items. For Christmas they’ll give jewelry to their family members and they won’t say “see what I stole for you”?
This should be considered a hate crime as it would for any other religious institution that experiences vandalism or attack. Give me a break.
